LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James has been widely recognized as being among the most notable basketball stars. Michael Jordan is usually the subject of debates about who is the best player. James holds four NBA championships. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic golds. James has the highest points in the playoffs the second most career points and has the seventh most career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen to an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. James has played in 10 NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and 2018. James was selected for part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron in Ohio. James was feted by national media as the future NBA super star. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the top league players, winning his NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James, who failed to win the championship at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was revealed as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a player who was a free agent history.
